Hello. I'm in 'Big Soul Project' a non-auditioned non-professional community choir here in Canada's Capital City.
On Dec 8th we are singing at Dominion Chalmers United Church at 7:30. It is a beautiful church in the round with wonderful acoustics - and one of our members John, will be singing Imagine (he sounds so much like John) and leading Imagine Peace.

MORE MAGAZINE: November 2007

Many women are creative, sensitive and intuitive people, but they give up before they try. It was natural in our household for my parents to always be saying, "What do you want to be?" My grandmother was a feminist in the 1920s. My mother was a painter, and she told me that she had to give up painting because she fell in love with my father; she didn't feel that I should be like that.

I'll give this advice to any 25-year-old: Just know that you're all right in every way. Know that the world is your oyster.

Dream Power John Lennon Super Live 2007
Nippon Budokan: December 8th 2007

Yoko Ono and an all-star cast of Japanese musicians will once again get together for this annual concert to celebrate the life and work of John Lennon.

The proceeds from the six events since 2001 have funded the construction of 65 schools in 18 Asian & African countries through John & Yoko's Spirit Foundation charity. The target of constructing 50 schools in five years has already been achieved, and the next five years have started with the new target of supporting 100 schools.

This year's Super Live concert will be held in Nippon Budokan on December 8th 2007, the 27th anniversary of John's death.

Oklahoma City Wish Tree
by Reatha Compton

This past weekend I participated in a Peace Festival in Oklahoma City (21st annual), sponsored by the Peace Education Institute. I was in charge of the children's activity room and we made a Wish Tree for the children to hang wishes on, along with other activities, such as making peace flags, peace mandelas and a peace collage. Around 50 children participated.
Peace and Love to you!
